Join us in extending a warm welcome to Dr. Amanda N. Kelly, widely known as Behaviorbabe on social media, as she assumes her role as the Director of Adult Programs at Unumb Place. Today is particularly special as it is also Dr. Kelly’s birthday! Join us in celebrating her incredible achievements and wishing her a very happy birthday.
Dr. Kelly brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her new role, with over two decades of distinguished leadership in behavior analysis. Her influence transcends borders, having presented at over 100 events worldwide and advocated for legislative initiatives in multiple states. As a scholar with a Ph.D. in Behavior Analysis, Dr. Kelly has spearheaded interventions that have positively impacted diverse populations in various settings. Furthermore, she co-authored the eagerly anticipated textbook, "Back to Basics: Ethics for Behavior Analysts."
“I have known Dr. Kelly for 15 years and am ecstatic that we were able to recruit her to South Carolina to join the UNUMB team,” said Lorri Unumb, Founder and Board Chair of UNUMB. “Under her leadership, the future is bright for the soon-to-be residents of our new adult campus.”
In her capacity as Director of Adult Programs, Dr. Kelly will lead the development of services at Unumb Place, ensuring unparalleled care and support for our adult residents. Her dedication to fostering a nurturing and vibrant environment aligns seamlessly with UNUMB's mission of empowering individuals with autism to lead bright, bold, fulfilling lives.
